With unique expertise in batch centrifugation, and passionate about so-called “downstream” processes in chemistry/pharma, we have over time expanded our service offering by becoming agents, resellers, or brokers of new technologies, in the field of industrial filtration (liquid filtration, powders, ultrafiltration), drying by lyophilization, atomization or “spray drying”, granulation by vibrated jets or “prilling”.
Our initial expertise is the optimization of batch centrifugation processes (cyclic batch centrifugation, also called “batch centrifugation”). Independent, we are not linked to a centrifuge manufacturer. For over 30 years, we have worked on all types of brands (ROUSSELET – ROBATEL, RIERA NADEU, COMI CONDOR, FERRUM, KRAUSS MAFFEI, KMPT, ANDRITZ, HEINKEL…), whether in fine chemistry, pharmaceutical active ingredient (API) manufacturing, cosmetic ingredients, in aqueous phase or solvent phase (ATEX workshops).
We have developed centrifuge operation training courses, unique on the market. These are in-company training courses, intended for operators, as well as for supervisory agents and engineers. They are customized according to your workshops & processes.
OPE holds patents (OPLA cloths easy to mount and VIBRATOPE, intelligent vibration analyzer).
Agent for KÖGEL FILTER since 2011, we offer custom solutions (patented CLIPPFILTER cloths and filter bags) made from Polypropylene, PEEK… We also offer non-woven PP FDA backing grids, easy to plate and install, to improve drainage.
At the request of our clients, but also to support the development of KÖGEL FILTER, we have extended our consumables offer to filters for powder pumps, custom-made filter sleeves and bags, and LYOSAFE containment solutions for lyophilization (trays with membranes, bags, smartbags…)
Our encounters with other very small businesses and family companies, innovative in the field of filtration, lyophilization, have led us to extend our partnerships, for example in 2024 with the wireless and battery-free TEMPRIS technology for measuring product temperature of bulk and lyophilized vials.
The adventure does not stop there, since 2025, we have been helping other principals in their commercial development as agents or business providers depending on the case and geographical scope, which remains targeted in France and/or neighboring countries. Let’s mention for example the Lyon-based start-up LYOPHITECH, which we represent in Belgium.
