Static Electricity

The issue of static electricity concerns most centrifuges installed in chemical & pharma, as they operate with flammable solvents in ATEX classified zones.

What about your consumables: are your filter cloths antistatic? How do you recognize an antistatic fabric? Should the bag be grounded? Where can you find antistatic bags?

We have solutions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Suspensions & dumping

Suspensions and dumping are safety components of your centrifuges. With a faulty dumping system, centrifuges become very difficult to operate during complex filtrations.

Did you know that your damped spring boxes (also called viscodampers or viscodampers), placed under your centrifuges, must be checked regularly ? They must be replaced as soon as the damping gel has leaked and at most every 10 years. Unfortunately, the gel can leak inside the boxes, making inspection more difficult.

Contact us for an assessment or renewal.

We work with the same suppliers as the manufacturers and will find the right model for you.

Vibrations and Waves

  • Does vibration detection not always work?

  • Is the centrifuge monitored by only one sensor?

  • Do your centrifuges sometimes stop due to vibrations?

  • Do you not distinguish between solid and liquid imbalances?

  • Do your operators sometimes manage to calm vibrations, but not always?

If you answered YES to any of the previous questions, it is urgent to consult us!

OPE has unique expertise and has patented the VIBRATOPE solution which allows you to identify the origin of vibrations and provide the appropriate correction.
